There has never been an official recall from GM regarding widespread speedometer problems, but a 2007 class action settlement qualifies certain owners for a special coverage adjustment (Special Policy Adjustment 07187a) to their standard warranty for allegedly defective speedometers.

D&M Restoration can repair all these issues at a cost far less than the dealership and we repair the original cluster so the mileage and security codes stay the same. We replace all of the stepper motors with the newest updated parts, replace all of the illumination bulbs and address all power and display issues. We offer a one-year warranty on repairs for all of the models listed above. Most repairs are completed within 2-3 days from when they are received.

We also repair and restore all gauges from the late 1800’s to now.
